Our extensive choice of skips are practical and easy to use and are suitable for a wide range of waste types, including brick, concrete, hardcore, metals, plastics, timber and other non-hazardous materials. They are available in a variety of sizes and types including the small mini and midi skips, a full range of builders' skips, and the large multi lift roll-on-off skips which are generally a more cost efficient option for large volumes of light bulky waste. Builders skips larger than 8cu. yds are not suitabe for heavy waste (i.e. hardcore and soil)

16-20 cubic yard roll on off's are only suitable for clean inert material or light builders waste; 25-40 cubic yard roll-on-off's are only suitable for light builders.

In most cases, all roll-on-off's containing non-inert material will be chargeable on a transport and tonnage basis. (not skips larger than 8yd etc) .

In any event the maximum weight a roll-on- off vehicle can lift is 15 tonne.

A: We have a wide variety of skip sizes available. Please refer to the size guide above.

A: You can have it dropped on your driveway, garden or building site, basically any privately owned land.

A: Yes. You will need a permit from the Council but in most areas we can apply for the permit on your behalf. This would also apply to any Council owned property (pavements, verges etc).

A: If your council refuses a licence , we can come along with a skip and the driver will wait while you load it up. This would need to be requested at the time of order and the maximum waiting time is 20 minutes (unless an additional 'waiting' charge has been agreed).

A: Yes. You cannot use a skip to dispose of asbestos, plasterboard, fridge/freezers, car batteries, tyres, gas cylinders, paint tins (empty or full), food waste, fluorescent tubes, liquids, television sets, or computer monitors. This is constantly changing in line with EA legislation (for example most electrical equipment will soon be dis-allowed). If unsure please ask a member of staff for assistance.

A: The only requirement is that you don't overload the skip. The skips can be level loaded only.

A: Skips can usually be kept on site for up to 10 days. However individual requirements can be accommodated dependent on availability.

A: the waste will be taken to the local transfer station where it is sorted and disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible.
