Looking back at last years Christmas message I commented what a tough year we had ahead of us. For many, Select included, 2009 will go down as a year to remember for the wrong reasons. After 12 years of growth we were bought down to earth with a bump. But, we have battled on and live to tell the tale! As the expected cut backs in Public Sector spending kick in, 2010 may well see a further downturn for many of us. It is very much a time for us all to batten down the hatches, stand firm and wait for the storm to pass and maybe finally those 'green shoots' we were promised a year ago, will be a little more realistic as 2010 gains momentum.
Development of our waste reporting systems are continuing and due to the detail required, has taken rather longer than expected to upgrade and integrate with our other systems, but we hope to have this new function available as quickly as possible. In the mean time waste reports are still available in the current format.
2009 has been an opportunity to further improve our quality systems as we continue to maintain our accreditation of ISO 14001 environmental quality standard which we hope demonstrates to our clients our commitment to best practice treatment of your waste.
We thank you for all your support and hope that we can continue to play our part in your growth and success in 2010 and beyond.
