You won't need me to tell you what a difficult year 2008 has been and I think few would question the likelihood of an even tougher 2009 given the current economic outlook. I hope it has not been too traumatic a year for you and that you have some renewed optimism for the new year.
For us at Select, despite being battered and bruised at times throughout the year, we have managed to sustain our 2007/2008 volumes. 2008 saw us achieve accreditation of ISO14001 environmental quality standard which we hope demonstrates to our clients our commitment to best practice treatment of your waste.
We are currently investing heavily in our internal systems to increase the efficiency of our customer service and operational systems. In particular we are developing our waste reporting systems to provide you with the most accurate and upto date waste reports from your own sites. We hope to have this new facility available to you during early 2009.
We thank you all for your support and hope that we can continue to play our part in your growth and success in 2009 and beyond.
