Two thousand tickets have today gone on sale for Quarry Fest – an exciting outdoor music event in aid of Shropshire’s Hope House Children’s Hospice.
Quarry Fest will take place on September 3 at the Quarry in Shrewsbury and will raise vital funds to enable the hospice to provide care and support to local terminally ill children and their families.
A main stage will feature bands such as an Oasis tribute Oasiz, Chilli Peppers tribute act under the fridge, Fight the Bear, Andy O’Brien, The Taste, Katie Brisbourne and Radio Riots. Alongside all this exciting music there will be a fashion show from Fusion hair Salon, and locally sourced catering vans and a bar.
This event has been made possible by sponsorship from Shrewsbury company Select A Skip UK Ltd, which means that the whole £15 ticket price will go directly to the hospice.
Two Thousand tickets go on sale today and can be bought from www.theticketsellers.co.uk, the Hope House shop in Shoplatch, Shrewsbury and Fusion Hair Studio in Mardol, and the Hope House Fundraising Office in Morda, Oswestry. Admission will be strictly 16 years and over.
Organiser Hope House Fundraiser Kelly Goodall said: “In a year when donations are down by a third this event will be hugely important in helping us generate vital funds to keep our services running for the families who depend on them. It will also be a fantastic fun event with lots of fresh talent from local bands!”.If anyone would like any more information please contact the Fundraising Office on 01691 671 671.
